The agreement between you and the desk
These terms govern quotes given over the telephone and tickets issued through us. They are worth reading before you pay, because airline fare rules are strict and most cheap tickets cannot be undone.
1. Who we are
BestFlightsBooking is an independent travel agency. We are not an airline. We act as an agent, arranging tickets between you and the carrier that will fly you. The airline, not the desk, operates the flight and is responsible for carrying you and your baggage.
By calling (866) 227-5808 and asking us to book, or by using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not place a booking.
2. Quotes are live, not held
Prices read out on a call, listed on this site or sent by email are indicative and drawn from live airline inventory. A fare is only yours once the ticket is issued and a confirmation number is given to you. Between the quote and the payment, a fare can rise or sell out. We will tell you if it does and will not charge a different amount than the one you agreed without asking you first.
Where we offer to hold a quote, that hold is a courtesy for the period stated on the call and does not guarantee the price or the seat.
3. Passenger details are your responsibility
Give names exactly as they appear on the passport or government photo ID you will travel with. Before you pay, the agent will read the names, dates of birth, dates, times and airports back to you. Confirming them is your acceptance that they are correct.
- Airlines charge for name corrections, and some forbid them entirely; the ticket must then be rebought.
- You are responsible for passports, visas, transit visas, onward-travel proof and health requirements.
- An airline may deny boarding if your documents do not match the ticket, and that is not refundable.
4. Payment and what you are charged
- Payment is taken on a secured page by the cardholder, who must be present on the call.
- The total quoted includes the airline fare, taxes and our service fee. The service fee is disclosed on the call before you pay and is shown separately on your confirmation.
- Our service fee is earned when the ticket is issued and is not refundable, even if the fare later is.
- Charges may appear on your statement from us, from the airline, or from both, depending on how the ticket is issued.
- Bookings paid for with a card that is later reported as unauthorised may be cancelled, and we may recover costs already paid to the airline.
5. Ticketing and confirmation
Tickets are normally issued within a few hours of payment and the confirmation is emailed to the address you gave. Check it on arrival. If you have not received a confirmation, call (866) 227-5808 — do not travel to the airport on the assumption that a booking exists. In the rare event that ticketing fails after payment, we will either reissue at the agreed price or refund you in full.
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
The airline’s fare rules decide what is possible, not us. Most discounted economy fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, and changes attract an airline penalty plus any difference in fare. Where a change or refund is permitted, the following applies:
- An airline penalty and fare difference may be payable, set by the carrier.
- A processing fee applies to changes and refunds handled by the desk, disclosed before we proceed.
- Approved refunds are returned to the card used, and airline settlement commonly takes one to two billing cycles.
- No-shows, and tickets left unused past the date of travel, generally have no residual value.
Cancellation requests must be made by telephone to the desk before departure and are not effective until an agent confirms them to you.
7. Schedule changes and disruption by the airline
Airlines change and cancel flights. When we are told of a change to your itinerary, we pass it on to the contact details on the booking and will help you take up whatever the airline offers — a rebooking, a refund or a credit. What is on offer is the airline’s decision under its conditions of carriage and any applicable passenger-rights law. Compensation for delays, cancellations, downgrades and lost baggage is claimed from the carrier, not from the desk.
Skipping any segment of an itinerary usually causes the airline to cancel the remaining segments automatically. Do not do it without speaking to us first.
8. Baggage, seats and extras
Baggage allowances, seat assignments, meal requests and infant arrangements follow the operating carrier’s rules. Requests made through us are passed on but cannot be guaranteed, and airlines may change a seat assignment at any time, including at the gate. Fees for bags and seats are the airline’s, are charged at its rates and are subject to change.
9. Travel insurance
We recommend insurance covering cancellation, medical care abroad, baggage and missed connections, arranged at the time of booking. Where we offer a policy, the insurer’s own documents set out what is covered; we are not the insurer and do not decide claims.
10. Limits on our liability
We are responsible for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill, and for correcting errors we make. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of airlines or other suppliers, nor for events outside our reasonable control, including weather, strikes, air-traffic restrictions, mechanical failure, civil unrest and government action.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of a booking is limited to the amount of our service fee on that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost earnings, missed events or unused accommodation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence. Carriage itself is governed by the carrier’s conditions of carriage and by the Montreal and Warsaw Conventions, which cap airline liability.
11. Using this website
The site is provided for information about our service. Content, layout and imagery on it belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission. Fares, routes and availability shown are examples and are not offers capable of acceptance. Do not attempt to scrape, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
12. Complaints
Call (866) 227-5808 or write to desk@bestflightsbooking.com with your confirmation number and what went wrong. We acknowledge complaints within three business days and aim to resolve them within thirty. Raising a complaint with us first will almost always be faster than a chargeback, and it preserves options the airline may withdraw once a card dispute is opened.
13. Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms; the version published when your ticket was issued is the one that governs your booking.
